Hi, I’m Karin – owner of Lund Wellness Collective, LLC and creator of the Becoming Fiercely Free Journal. Can I be honest?
I love food. And I hated my body.
For years, I felt trapped. Anxiety, depression, and feeling uncomfortable in my skin dominated my life, leaving me searching desperately for hope. I tried everything to break free, but nothing worked.
That is, until a new way found me.
By setting clear boundaries with food and aligning my life with my natural rhythms as a woman, I found freedom—a freedom deeply rooted and grounded in love. These intentional adjustments created a sense of safety and balance that carried me through every phase of my journey – even after my cycles stopped. Embracing these changes empowered me to trust my body, heal past trauma, find my natural weight, and reclaim peace in my daily life.
About Me
My journey into women’s health and nutrition began with my own struggle: painful periods, cravings, body image challenges, and the exhausting juggle of being a mom, wife, and career woman. By learning to embrace the shifts in my body’s needs across each phase of my menstrual cycle, I found peace with food and my body – and I knew I had to share this life-changing approach with others. I turned to whole food, plant-based nutrition to support my happiness hormones, as well as my thyroid, gut, and immune function. As I began working with other women, I saw this same approach transform lives, reversing chronic diseases, insulin resistance, PCOS, and perimenopausal symptoms.
Today, I’m a Functional Nutritionist with a Master’s in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. I bring over 20 years of healthcare experience to my practice, combining evidence-based treatments, functional medicine, and trauma-informed care. My work supports metabolic health, menstrual and perimenopausal wellness, and recovery from unhelpful eating patterns such as binge eating and food addiction—grounded in the science of nervous system regulation and the healing power of creating a deep internal sense of safety.
On a more personal note, I’m a proud firefighter’s wife, endometriosis warrior, and mama to four. Whether it’s trail walks, beach days, homeschooling, or worshipping at Calvary Chapel on Whidbey Island, I draw strength from both my faith and the incredible women I have the privilege to serve.
Let’s walk this journey together – because freedom is possible, and it’s worth it.

What The Tribe Says
I am 2 months into Becoming Fiercely Free. I was just caught by surprise with starting my cycle today because I feel GREAT, with zero bloat. That’s a giant win in my book. Thanks Karin!
